No. Tickets are for sale online only.

Who can use a Military Discount?
Only the individual with a valid military ID may use a military discount ticket. ID MUST BE shown at the gate – no exceptions. Tickets are non-transferable and cannot be used by friends or family members without military ID. Without proper ID, you’ll need to pay the difference for a full-price ticket.

What is the age requirement?
This is a 21+ event. No guests under age 21 will be permitted entry, including small children. Government-issued photo ID is required to enter the event. No refunds will be issued if you are unable to show proof of ID at the event.

What is the dress code?
Smart casual. Taste of NoVA is a chic affair with lots of Instagrammable photo opps — so dress your best in case you get caught on camera! The event takes place on a grass field and tastings are held under large tents, so comfortable shoes are encouraged. Let’s keep it chic!

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
We cannot accommodate allergies or dietary restrictions, however, there will be a wide variety of foods available.

What is the bag policy?
One bag per person. Bags are restricted to a size no larger than 12″x 6″ x 12” with a single compartment. Backpacks are prohibited.

Yes, but in the case of extreme weather, we may be required to reschedule.

What is the refund policy?
Ticket sales are final. Refunds will not be issued. We understand the change in venue may be inconvenient. The event dates and programming remain the same. As stated at checkout and on our Event Policy, all sales are final and nonrefundable. If you can no longer attend, you may transfer your ticket to another guest.

Event Policy
In exchange for entry to the Taste of Nova event (“Event”) organized and produced by Metro Media Marketing, Inc. dba Northern Virginia Magazine and Northern Virginia Food Rescue, and other consideration the sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, all ticket purchasers and attendees (individually, “Attendee” and collectively “Attendees”) accept and agree to the following Policies.
The “Organizer” as used herein shall collectively refer to Northern Virginia Food Rescue and Northern Virginia Magazine, and their owners, officers, directors, agents and assigns, event management, production affiliates, sponsors, and venues, and all Event contractors, volunteers, and exhibitors.
These Policies may be updated from time to time, and it is the Attendee’s responsibility to be aware of the updates. If the Policies are updated, Attendee’s continued possession of a ticket to the Event or presence at the Event, will be deemed acceptance of the updated Policies.
Code of Conduct
All Attendees, vendors, and staff are expected to adhere to the following code of conduct:
· Compliance with Laws: All Attendees must comply with local laws and ordinances, including health and safety regulations.
· No Disorderly Conduct: No fighting, abusive language, or disruption of the Event is permitted. Attendees are expected to be courteous and respectful to all Attendees, vendors, volunteers, and staff. Discriminatory, harassing, or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated.
· Alcohol Consumption: Alcohol may only be consumed in designated areas and in compliance with local liquor laws. Intoxication or disorderly behavior due to alcohol consumption will result in removal from the Event. Only licensed vendors may serve alcoholic beverages. All vendors must adhere to local liquor laws and regulations. Attendees may be subject to alcohol consumption limits as dictated by the local liquor license or the Organizer.
· No Outside Food or Alcohol: No outside food or alcohol is permitted at the Event.
· Zero Tolerance for Drugs: Illegal drugs or substances are strictly prohibited. Anyone found with such substances will be removed from the premises and may face legal consequences.
· Prohibited Items and Activities: No pets, smoking or vaping, oversized bags, helium-filled balloons, open flames (except for food service by exhibitors), confetti, glitter, and smoke machines, wall adhesives, gambling, fundraising ticket sales on-site, skateboards, wagons, bicycles, motorized vehicles, fireworks, playing music, distribution of materials, solicitation, or any other items or conduct that unreasonably interferes with the enjoyment of the Event by others or poses a threat to public safety, as determined in the sole discretion of the Organizers, are permitted.
· Environmental Responsibility: Please dispose of trash in designated receptacles and respect the outdoor environment.
Organizer reserves the right, without providing a refund, to eject an Attendee or refuse an Attendee’s entry into the Event for failure to comply with any of the Policies, venue rules, applicable laws, health screenings, and security measures, subject to Organizer’s sole discretion.
1. Age Policy
· Minimum Age: Only individuals 21 years of age and older are permitted to attend the Event. Vendors and staff will ask for ID verification prior to entering the venue, alcohol purchases, and/or alcohol consumption.
2. Health Protocol
· Health and Safety Guidelines: All Attendees, volunteers, staff, and vendors must comply with current public health and safety protocols, this may include, but not be limited to mask-wearing, hand sanitation, and social distancing, as applicable.
· Medical Assistance: Medical personnel will be available on-site in case of emergencies. In case of illness or injury, please contact staff immediately.
· COVID-19 Protocols: If applicable, Attendees may be required to show proof of vaccination or a negative test result to participate the Event. These protocols will be communicated prior to the Event.
3. Waiver and Limitation of Liability
· Assumption of Risk: By attending the Event, Attendees acknowledge that they may be exposed to various risks inherent in attending such a public event, such as adverse weather conditions, venue conditions, crowds, accidents, allergens, diseases, and unforeseen acts of violence. Attendee understands that it is Attendee’s responsibility to take their own reasonable precautions to protect themselves and their personal property while attending the Event. Although Organizer will take reasonable care to prevent harm, Attendee hereby acknowledges and knowingly and voluntarily assumes full responsibility for any risks of loss, property damage, personal injury, or death, that may be sustained by Attendee as a result of participating in the Event.
· Liability Release: In consideration for attending the Event, Attendee agrees they will not sue the Organizer, its officers, directors, agents, employees, contractors, vendors, sponsors, officials, and volunteers, and their respective successors and assigns (collectively “Released Parties”) and Attendee releases Released Parties from any and all liabilities, claims, demands, actions, causes of actions, costs and expenses of any nature whatsoever arising out of any loss, inconvenience, harm, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by Attendee or to any property belonging to Attendee, arising from the Event or while upon the premises where the Event is being conducted.
· Indemnification: Attendee agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Released Parties from and against any loss, liability, damage or costs, including court costs and attorneys’ fees, that Released Parties may incur arising from Attendee’s involvement in the Event.
4. Right to Use Name, Image, and Likeness
· Media and Photography: Attendee understands that Organizer and its designees may take photographs, make video and/or audio recordings, write articles of or about Attendee (collectively, the “Content”), with or without Attendee’s name for possible inclusion in publications or media publicizing or regarding the Event. Attendee grants Organization or its designees the rights, without limitation, to use, modify, publish, display, reproduce, print, broadcast, distribute and transmit the Content, or Attendee’s name, image, likeness, and voice (collectively, the “Likeness”), in whole or in part, in any media now existing or hereafter developed, including but not limited to the Internet, social media, or any print or electronic media or publications, whether in or out of context. Attendee further acknowledges and agrees that the Organizer shall be the sole and exclusive owner of any work containing the Content or Likeness. Participation in any Event Contests or Promotions (including the Taste of NoVA Photo Contest) constitutes consent to the uses described in this Section 4 and as further detailed in the applicable Official Rules. · No Commercial Filming or Photography: Personal filming or photography of the Event is allowed for private use only. Any commercial photography or videography must receive prior approval from the Organizer.
5. Ticketing and Cancellation
· Ticket Purchase: Tickets for the Event can only be purchased in advance online.
· Ticket Types: Tickets are available for general admission, early access, and other specific time entries and Event experiences. Each ticket type grants access to different areas or amenities on certain days, as outlined on the Event website.
· Ticket Confirmation and Proof of Delivery: The confirmation provided to the ticket purchaser shall serve as proof of delivery of the ticket(s).
· Lost or Stolen Tickets: Please keep your ticket safe. The Organizer is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets. Replacement tickets will not be issued.
· Ticket Transfer by Attendee: If the initial purchaser of a ticket to the Event is unable to attend, no refunds will be provided. The initial ticket purchaser may transfer a ticket to another individual, but the new Attendee must follow the age and entry guidelines and these Policies. If the initial ticket purchaser transfers a ticket, the initial ticket purchaser is responsible for making the new ticket holder aware of these Policies. The new Attendee is subject to these Policies as if they were the original purchaser.
· Refund Policy and Event Cancellation: Tickets are non-refundable. In the event of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., inclement weather, health restrictions), Organizer reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the Event. In such cases, the Organizer will not provide a refund but will make every effort to reschedule the Event. If the Event is canceled or rescheduled, the Organization will make every effort to notify the ticket purchasers.
· Force Majeure: The Organizer is not liable for failure to host the Event or perform under the terms of these Policies and this agreement due to circumstances beyond their control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, public health crisis, war, strikes, or any other acts of God or government.
6. Changes to Event, Venue, Line-up, or Vendors
· Event venues, participant line-ups, dates, and times are subject to change without notification.
7. Survivability and Choice of Law
· Attendee agrees that the terms and agreements made in paragraphs 4, 5, 6 survive the Event and shall bind the members of Attendee’s family and spouse (if any), its estate, heirs, administrators, assigns, and personal representatives.
· Attendee agrees that any claim arising from its participation in the Event shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of laws provision.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless NVM Parties from any and all claims, damages, obligations, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees and costs) arising out of, related to, or that may arise in connection with: (i) your violation of these Terms; (ii) your use of the Taste of Nova Website or any of the NVM Services or NVM Goods; (iii) content or information provided to you through use of the Taste of Nova Website or NVM Services; (iv) any actual or alleged breach of any representation, warranty, or covenant that you have made to us; (v) your violation of any third-party intellectual property rights, privacy rights, publicity rights, or any other rights; (vi) your violation of any applicable laws, rules, or omissions; (vii) you communications, interactions, or engagement with any job candidates or job posters; or (v) your acts or omissions.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction
All matters relating to the Taste of Nova Website and these Terms of Use and any dispute or claim arising therefrom or related thereto (in each case, including non-contractual disputes or claims), shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the internal laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law provision or rule (whether of the Commonwealth of Virginia or any other jurisdiction). Arbitration
Any dispute or claim relating in any way to your use of the Taste of Nova Website will be resolved by binding arbitration, rather than in court, except that you may assert claims in small claims court if your claims qualify. The Federal Arbitration Act and federal arbitration law apply to this agreement.
There is no judge or jury in arbitration, and court review of an arbitration award is limited. However, an arbitrator can award on an individual basis the same damages and relief as a court (including injunctive and declaratory relief or statutory damages) and must follow the terms of these Terms as a court would.
The arbitration will be conducted by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its rules, including the AAA’s Supplementary Procedures for Consumer-Related Disputes. The AAA’s rules are available at www.adr.org. Payment of all filing, administration and arbitrator fees will be governed by the AAA’s rules.
YOU AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCEEDINGS WILL BE CONDUCTED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT IN A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. IF FOR ANY REASON A CLAIM PROCEEDS IN COURT RATHER THAN IN ARBITRATION WE EACH WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL.
YOU ALSO AGREE THAT YOU OR NVM MAY BRING SUIT IN COURT TO ENJOIN INFRINGEMENT OR OTHER MISUSE OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS.
Waiver And Severability
No waiver by NVM of any term or condition set forth in these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or condition or a waiver of any other term or condition, and any failure of NVM to assert a right or provision under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
If any provision of these Terms is held by a court or other tribunal of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable for any reason, such provision shall be eliminated or limited to the minimum extent such that the remaining provisions of these Terms will continue in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement
These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the sole and entire agreement between you and NVM with respect to the Taste of Nova Website and supersede all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations and warranties, both written and oral, with respect to the Taste of Nova Website.
